Let's clean the community together
April is national Volunteer Month! Use this opportunity to volunteer by participating in the Great American Clean Up. Keep Anna Beautiful is hosting a spring cleaning during the week of April 8. You can participate on your own time as a family, individual or civic group! Supplies are available in the CEC office. Sign up to volunteer.

Don't know where to start? The Keep Anna Beautiful Committee will be at Slayter Creek Park on April 8 at 6 p.m. to clean the park together. Anyone in the community is welcome to join.

Learn more through the City Manager Monthly Update
The City of Anna has been actively engaging with the community through various initiatives. The Spring Neighbor Academy has commenced and featured presentations from the City Manager's Office, Budget Office and Police Department so far.

Connects continue to happen throughout our subdivisions. For example, the Anna Town Square Social Committee organized a successful Easter egg hunt with the help of local businesses and the free block party trailer. Additionally, the city focused on beautification efforts, hosting a clean-up day and a lawn education session on composting.

Capital improvement projects, such as the Collin Pump Station Phase 2 and FM 455 Water Utility Relocations Phase 1, are progressing well, along with other infrastructure developments like the Slayter Creek Water Line installation.

The city's staff has also been involved in training and development activities, including a promotional process for Anna Fire Rescue and mental health training for law enforcement agencies.
